From Galápagos, the land of the giant tortoises 🐢 to Guayaquil, I currently work at Jobsity/Parallel Public Works. I love to create exceptional technology stuff showing what I got for this world.
About Me
Hello I'm Cristhian or Thian, a full stack JavaScript web developer based in Guayaquil, Ecuador, who is a entrepreneur and code entusiasm, crazy about building exceptional stuff on the internet. I develop different kind of web, mobile and desktop apps from the frontend to the backend and the database layer.
During my studies on UCSG, I got my first work experience in a financial institution, then I moved to one priavate software company where I worked on a wide variety of interesting and meaningful projects with important clients as Corporacion El Rasado, Banco Pichincha, Grupo Vilaseca, among others. After graduating I founded Ecudevs where I help people to achieve their dreams trough the code. I have experience as an entrepreneur delivering mobile, web apps, and integration software processes for personal clients. I have worked in the e-commerce industry with technologies such as WordPress, WooCommerce, and Flutter, also developing fintech with ReactJs and PHP Laravel.
Currently working at Parallel Public Works I've earned experience with React/Gatsby and PHP/Drupal helping nonprofit organizations to have their own spaces on the internet.

- Revamped product architecture, accelerating Gatsby-based static file generation for large web pages, resulting in a 60% reduction in build time.

- Developed a microsite using Laravel and Tailwind CSS that had to support +50k clients, allowing users to check if applicable to get digital coupons.
- Built a WordPress plugin with PHP logic to synchronize WooCommerce entities (products, orders, categories, tags, etc) capable of being reused to integrate whichever client wants to implement an eCommerce website. This plugin is working on 3 client shops (Juan Marcet, Disensa, Veris).

- Redesigned a client app for Android and IOs for employees clocking using React Native with Expo and Redux, delivering a well-designed UX and robust clocking solution using the camera and Google Maps.
